Trip-Planning Aid: Info Request

If you’re planning a trip to Ottawa or want to learn more about what the city has to offer, we have the perfect solution! The Ottawa Visitors Center makes and mails out Information Request Packages to those who call or use our website.

It’s simple! On a computer, all you have to do is click the “Info Request” button at the top righthand side of the screen, fill out the form, and press submit. If you’re on mobile, you’ll have to click the drop-down menu at the top of the page and select “Info Request.”

The form tells us what sort of information you’re interested in. Once we receive your Information Request, we’ll fill an envelope with things like shopping/dino info, brochures for historical attractions, and the official city guide, along with the specifications you choose! You can tailor the info request to fit your needs, so each one is made with you in mind.

After that, we’ll mail out your packet! We can mail anywhere in the United States. Please make sure your name, address, and phone number are filled in correctly so we can ensure your package gets to you!

The Info Request is mostly geared towards tourists and travelers, but we still have something for you if you’re a recent move-in. For those new to the area who would still like to learn about what Ottawa has to offer, we have the Hello Neighbor program: A handy resource to help you learn more about your new home and make acclimating to the area a little easier. For more information on Hello Neighbor, you can check out this blog post.
